After working as an international model, I found my passion was being behind the camera when I returned to New Zealand. I worked as a Casting Director for 12 years, casting & coordinating International TV Series and Films prior to my extensive career as a Producer.
Taking pride in being tenacious is my driving force. I'm also very proud of the team I have built.

Gabrielle Leon
/ Producer
With a list of International credits to her name, Gabrielle has filmed in amazing locations worldwide. It’s a privilege to have Gabrielle producing for Halo Productions. When she invited me to Co-Produce a nine-month international project in 2004, we were a great team and had so much fun during the production. Co-producing together in 2023 continues to ignite our passion and complement our strengths while we have the same work ethic and commitment to producing excellent results for our clients.
Emma Power
/ Creative Producer
Emma Power is an experienced journalist and scriptwriter, she set up a production company at nineteen producing corporate videos in Ireland liaising with clients on logistics, capturing the overall vision for a project and organising call sheets.
Emma went on to study journalism, working as an entertainment journalist for various newspapers and magazines in Ireland. She then developed her passion further by attending a scriptwriting course through the New York Film Academy, more recently, graduating from the UCLA professional writing for TV programs. She has garnered the attention of agents and managers in LA, while winning awards for her scripts.
Having emigrated to New Zealand, Emma continues scriptwriting and script consulting, most recently on a documentary series Stolen Lands; Betrayal of a Chief. Emma is currently working on her first feature film.
We are thrilled to incorporate Emma’s knowledge and experience, being an asset to our team as an experienced Creative Producer for Halo Productions.
Nicoel Boschman
Production Manager / Assistant Director
I met Nicoel as the 1st AD on a web series we shot in Tauranga. In management, it's important to delegate with confidence and when you meet your match in abilities who exceeds your expectations, it's what every producer needs. So, after that first project, I was quick to bring Nicoel onto the Halo team. Nicoel is a brilliant woman who remains vigilant and doesn't miss a beat.
